Essay Contest for High School Students, $850 in Prizes.

“What is your vision for a better community? A better world?”  The Task Force For Humanity, a local organization, wants to know.  You’re invited to submit to the organization a 1200-2000 word essay to answer both these questions.

The Essay Contest has $850 in prizes.  The prizes are as follows: First prize $500, Second $150, and Third $100.  Email your entry to The deadline to submit your essay is Midnight September 25th, , extended from September 18th.

You will be rewarded for dreaming big about how you think we can create a world that recognizes and respects and celebrates groups and their relationships with one another.

The Task Force sponsors this essay contest as a compliment to it’s upcoming conference “Visions of a Better World” that will be held October 10, 2009 at Seton Hall University. The Conference has 19 sponsors and is endorsed by our Mayor Vic DeLuca and the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce.
